Osalan - Security and Health Labor Institute of the Autonomous Basque Community Government

Osalan, an autonomous organism that is part of the Department of Employment and Social Policies of the Government of the Autonomous Basque Community, was created in order to coordinate and centralize in a sole organism all the actions that the Autonomous Basque Community is responsible for in the area of labor safety, hygiene, environment and health, with the final purpose of providing the hard-working population with effective content.

Amongst other tasks it is responsible for the promotion and prevention of health and safety for workers.
