- Railway network
The Autonomous Basque Community is connected through the National Network of Spanish Railways (RENFE) with the main capitals of the Spanish state. And these connections are completed by the Railway network from Via Estrecha (FEVE) which covers the Cantabric cornice and the Eusko Train, which connects the surroundings and the suburban areas of the territorial capitals.
The AVE High-Speed Rail manages the Basque Country international rail networks.

Services from Bilbao to the rest of Spain
Railway network from Via Estrecha (FEVE): It connects the Galician locality of Ferrol with Bilbao (Through the north of Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria and Bizkaia) and Bilbao with Leon (crossing over Bizkaia, Burgos, a small part of Cantabria, Palencia and Leon).
This rail network also provides services for passengers in the Autonomous Community of Murcia, and connects Cartagena with Los Nietos.

The Euskotren – Eusko Trensbideak public society / Basque railways Ltd. belongs to the Department of Transport and Public Works of the Basque Government.

Autonomous Community of Navarre
The Navarre transport network has highways of 3.880 km in length, which are supplemented by the Airport of Noain and 208 km of railways.

Due to its geographical location, Navarre connects France with Spain and –internally –the Autonomous Basque Community with the Ebro Valley. Navarre is immersed in on the Lisboa-Madrid-Paris and the Paris-Madrid-Algeciras connections, as well as connecting the Atlantic with the Mediterranean Ocean.
