2008 NABO Mus Finals

NABO along with a host club/organization (decided by the winning team one year hosting the event the following year in that community) annually hosts this tournament. The winner of this tournament goes as the U.S. representative to the International Mus Tournament.

Who: Hosted by Ventura County Basque Club
What: 2008 NABO Mus Finals
When:  Saturday, May 31st; check-in at 7:30am
Where: Chino Basque Club house
15181 Sierra Bonita Lane; Chino, California

Step 1: Please send in your team player names to Etcharren@msn.com with a confirmation that the new players have received the new NABO Tournament Rules
NOTE:  If the rules link above does not open, you'll need to download the free program at  http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html to view it.

Step 2:  Make your travel arrangements for that weekend (directions and accommodations below).  Note that Saturday evening after the tournament, there will be a dinner/dance sponsored by the Chino Basque Club ($15 for dinner; wine separate) at the same place if you would like to make plans to stay for that party.

Directions
Coming from the north.  Take Central Avenue in Chino and go south.  The Chino fairgrounds [site of the annual picnic] is south on Central Avenue and on the Northeast corner of Central Avenue & Edison.  The clubhouse is farther south on Central Avenue in the industrial complex on the Southwest corner of Central Avenue & Chino Hills Parkway.  Go south past this intersection a hundred yards to the next street on your right [Los Vientos] which takes you into the complex, then a left onto Sierra Nevada.  The clubhouse is down a half dozen buildings on your left.

Coming from the south.  Take the 71 freeway north and turn right onto the Central Avenue exit and turn right onto Central.  Within a mile turn left onto Los Vientos into the industrial park and then left again onto Sierra Bonita.

Airport recommendation
The closest airport to Chino is Ontario International just about twenty minutes east.  Los Angeles is another option, but that is an hour away to the west (but note that traffic down here makes that time vary).
