Record a good short film and win 600 euros
The countdown to enter EuskoMovie has started. The contest has been launched with the combined support of Filmoteca Vasca and the cinematography division of Eusko Ikaskuntza. The film work must be recorded with either a mobile phone, photo or video camera and be no more than two minutes long, including the credits.
EuskoMovie is open to everyone no matter what their nationality or age is. You can submit a total of five short films with a Basque theme. For example; a representation of an expression like “ A Basques’ Word”, Basques at sea, Basque drawings, Basque cuisine, etc. They can be shot in Basque, English, Spanish, French languages or without sound.
All the short films will be exhibited on EuskoSare’s website where there will be voting system to evaluate the three categories: Best Short Film, Best Original Idea and The Spectators’ Prize.
The panel of judges will be comprised of three people with in-depth knowledge in the Basque audiovisual world. They will decide the winner of two of the three categories: Best Short Film, with a prize of 600 euros and Best Original Idea, with 400 euro prize money. The public will be able to submit their opinion thanks to the third category; The Spectators’ Prize, with 200 euros prize money. The organizers will ensure that all film work is qualified.
