Eclectic FasTFatum available in iTunes

EuskoSare collaborator, Igor Calzada's, debut album FasTFatum is now available in iTunes.

FasTFatum, the title of Igor Calzada's debut album is now out in iTunes.   He sings in Basque and English and his eclectic style is a mixture of postmodern, electronic, indie.   Calzada describes his music as a hybrid between what is understood as songs and literature when used as stories.   He worked in close collaboration with Basque writer Harkaitz Cano.  His inspiration for this album is drawn from his travels to Ireland, Nordic latitudes and desert highways.

In 2008, he was a studying scholar in the United States on a PhD research project, at the University of Nevada Reno.  Herecently returned to his home town, Donostia, and found a moment to work his musical alter ego side.  Something didn't have a chance to do this past year while focusing on his research project.   Calzada's research project is on cities and societies;  becoming (or maintaining) their creativity, innovation and vibrant nature.   While in the Western U.S, he extensively visited and investigated cities, met and interviewed mayors, city planners, major technology companies in Silicon Valley such as Google and people who lived in the cities themselves.  Back to his FastFatum tunes.....
