Internet Heraldry and Genealogy Course

Although it is structured for the net it is not exclusively given long distance, it is also possible to attend classes in person.

The program of study is organized into lessons, available to those registered in the course via the Internet.

The first block is based on the analysis of historical context: the social reality in which lineage is inserted and the relationships established on different levels. The second block is dedicated to the genealogical study of a lineage. The third to archives and documentation, typology, useful information regarding the location, opening hours, how each establishment works, etc. The fourth and last to heraldry and heraldic criteria for the creation of an appropriate shield.

The students of this course will be specializing in genealogy and heraldry and will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they gain to their own family history, community and other related areas.
